Confessions of a Bookworm - Wednesday Edition

So as most of you know I am obsessed with reading. If I have any spare time at all (or even if I don't) you can count on finding me curled up on the couch with a book. In fact that's exactly what I was doing on Monday afternoon (when I was supposed to be studying Molecular Biology...). The book I read was:

The Wednesday Letters

For those of you who have not yet read this book, and like uplifting stories, this book is for you. It's the sweet story of a deceased couple's life filled with love, trials, forgiveness, and redemption. To give a quick plot summary (don't worry I won't spoil anything): Jack and Laurel Cooper had been married for 40 years when they pass away. While their three children are sorting through their paperwork they stumble across hundreds of boxes, filled with thousands of letters. Jack had faithfully written a letter to their mother ever single Wednesday of their entire marriage. As the kids read through the letters they learn just how wonderful their parents' were and discover a terrible family secret... And that's all I'm telling you! You have to read it. It's such a beautiful and sincere story. You probably will cry, but you'll also be a better person for reading it. Plus it's a quick read. AND the best part is there's a sequel! Which I will most definitely be reading ASAP. Let me know if you decide to read "The Wednesday Letters" and it's sequel "The Wedding Letters" and if you enjoyed them. OH and seeing as I will definitely need a new book soon, please tell me what some of your favorite books have been in your comments!
I can't wait to read this too!
