Christmas Break {Part 5: Anne's Birthday - The Beach & The Wharf}

Today we celebrated Anne's birthday! We did all her favorites: had german pancakes for breakfast (yum), spent the day on the beach, went to Dennis the Menace Park, had a delicious king crab dinner, and explored the wharf! We had so much fun celebrating Anne. She is the sweetest, most loyal, and most thoughtful girl I know. Not to mention she is beautiful inside and out, and she has the cutest style. We sure love you Anne!

Christmas Break {Part 4: Monterey Aquarium & The Wharf}

For the next few days Clark and I will be relaxing in beautiful Monterey. We are staying with his family at their beach house. Now for those of you who have been following our blog from the beginning/ the ones who we've told our engagement story to should know Monterey is where Clark and I got engaged. And even though both of us love this place so much, we haven't been back here since we got engaged! So this is going to be a very sweet reminiscent trip for us :) If you feel like reminiscing too, or just want to know how Clark proposed, check out my post here.

On our first day in Monterey we went to the aquarium - one of my favorite places! It was so fun to show Opal and Eli all the fish and sea creatures. They had the best reactions. I did my best to capture the moments, even though the lighting was very dim. After the aquarium we went to Fisherman's Wharf for some of the area's best clam chowder. YUM! Check it out:
