Rise and Shout...

....because the refs are terrible and calling everything all wrong. Yes I'm going to talk about the devastating BYU game. But despite losing, we had a sweet weekend. Here's what we've been up to in the Peterson house (apartment).

Seeing as it's our senior year at BYU, Clark and I have decided to live-up our time in Utah as much as possible. That means sporting events up the wazoo. And hikes. Lots of hikes. And of course, we want to do lots of Utah things we haven't tried- like Sundance, the Alpine Loop, Moab, and Lake Powell. So to check an item off our list we drove up the Canyon for the Full Moon Chairlift ride at Sundance. First off - I think half of BYU's campus was there. We saw so many people we know! But it totally makes sense, cause it's a super pretty moonlit ride over the valley = very romantic. It was also super duper cold. I know they have one more Halloween ride before the normal ski season starts - if you plan on going, bundle up. And I mean bundle up. I'm talking blankets, long pants, leggings, socks, boots, sweaters, winter coats, and scarves. We did not realize that it would be so chilly, but luckily Sundance has incredible hot chocolate. Overall it was a super great evening! We loved it! And we can't wait to go back some time this fall to see all the colored leaves.

^Sundance^

Saturday was dedicated to football. Clark had an intramural football game in the morning, and they won! For whatever reason, I'm always gone when Clark makes a big catch. This time I was filling up his waterbottle... and I missed what I hear was an 'epic' catch. At least they won their game! Then we made our way over to the BYU football game. We were so so pumped. We're pretty hardcore BYU fans, so losing to Utah was devastating. Especially because it was a bad game all around - the ref's were terrible, Utah was playing dirty (as to be expected), and BYU was playing poorly. I'm not proud of the violent feelings I had towards the U after the game. I felt like a crazed bull, angry at every red thing I saw. And don't even get me started on black and white stripes right now. Those refs... anyways I  hope we get our act together for the rest of the season and play like we played against Texas! We still love our Cougars, even when they break our hearts. And we had a great time with James, Jani, and Ben at the game! Now a photo overload, cause if I think about the game any more I may hunt down a Ute fan...

^I think this is pretty Christmas Card worthy^

^America, BYU, and Clark. My favorites^

 WE LOVE BYU!
