Christmas Break {Part 9: THE END}

So good think Christmas Break just ended, I'm sure all of my Christmas break posts were getting pretty boring! But it really was so much fun and I definitely needed a place to capture all my fun memories. We spent our last full day of break exploring the beautiful Bay Area. If you ever are near SF and have an hour or two to spare, go visit Muir Woods and Stinson Beach!!! Both locations are so amazingly gorgeous. The trees in Muir Woods really are insanely tall. And Stinson Beach has some of the softest sand I've ever felt. I'm already dying to go back... especially when I think of the snow in Utah (barf).

We also made our way into SF on our way back for dinner at Boudin (bread bowls!) and Ghirardelli ice cream. I got their new Ocean Beach sundae - Salted Caramel and Fudge. You'll notice I have no picture of this amazing sundae - it was eaten too quickly to even think of taking a photo!

After our adventures by the bay we drove to my Nana's in Los Altos. We spent all of our last day with my Dad's side of the family, going to church and watching the SF 49er's beat the Packers! What a great end of the break. Check it out!

^Love Muir Woods!^

^These kids thought every nook and cranny was a cool hobbit hole/elf house ^

Christmas Break {Part 3: A BEAUTY of a day and a BEAST of a game}

Oh the puns. The day after Christmas we drove back down to Danville and then took BART over to SF to see Beauty and the Beast (that's where part of  my terrible punny title came from!). It was a great time! SF was gorgeous, the play was great, and singing along to the Frozen soundtrack on our way there and back was the best.

^Even though we aren't looking, I love this picture!^

^The ceiling and chandelier in the theater were so gorgeous!^

^A 12 foot gingerbread castle at the St. Francis West!!!^

^Creepy/cool angel dude at Union Square^

^I always love the wreaths in Macy's windows^

And that's the end of our first tripe to SF this break. The very next day we hopped on BART again to go to the BYU vs. UW Fight Hunger Bowl Game at AT&T Park. That was the beast part. BYU let us down... and the refs were the worst! So it was a bit of a bummer.  But it was still super fun to hang out with both families! I'll have to snag a Peterson picture from Anne or Shelley, so sorry there isn't one of us with the Petersons.

^Hanging out with my family for a quarter of the game!^
